Voss Industries Receives second Northrop Grumman Platinum Source Award

Northrop Grumman for the second year in a row has presented Voss Industries with it’s “Platinum Source Preferred “ Supplier Award. The Platinum Award is presented to those companies exemplifying excellence in Quality, Delivery and Service.

Company President Daniel W. Sedor, Sr. stated, “ We have had a very successful relationship with Northrop Grumman over the years and their continued recognition of Voss with this prestigious award is an honor.”

For the fourth consecutive year, one lucky Voss Industries employee walked (actually she drove it) away with a new car. This year our winner was Beverly Tripplett who works in the Cost Accounting Department. Bev, who has been at Voss for over 10 years, became the proud owner of a new Toyota Tacoma truck.

Ohio Governor Ted Strickland recently recognized Voss Industries, Inc. with the presentation of the “E” award. This award recognizes Ohio companies that have implemented strategies, which have provided significant increased sales volumes and Ohio –based employment as a direct result of export activity.

“This is our second such award” notes President Daniel W. Sedor, Sr. “ Through our continuing efforts we have enjoyed significant success and are honored to once again be recognized. During the past 5 years we have seen export activity grow over 270%. Voss and Airbus Extend relationship until 2012
January 7, 2007

A 5-year extension of the current long-term agreement with Airbus to supply NSA 8600 and ABS 1122 series flanges, NSA 8601,8603, 8696 and ABS 1139 series couplings, ABS 1407 and ABS 1176 series flanges, couplings and E-seals and NSA5532 band clamps as well as requirements for ABS0637 is announced by Voss Aerospace, a division of Voss Industries, Inc. These components are utilized in various ducting requirements on all Airbus flight platforms.

"This extension of our relationship," notes Daniel W. Sedor, Sr., president, Voss Industries, "is the result of an extensive collaborative effort between Airbus and Voss over the past 5 years.”

“As the primary supplier of these parts, Voss Aerospace becomes the supplier of choice to other Airbus suppliers who will use Voss V-retainer couplings and flanges in their sub-assemblies.”
